  • The world-renowned American flutist Ransom Wilson will be teaching a masterclass on French repertoire for flute composed between 1850 and 1950, from Demersseman to Dutilleux, for the competitions of the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris.

Masterclass with Ransom Wilson

Tuesday, August 4, 2020 1-2:30 PM  

Learn from a true master of the French repertoire.

The class will focus on the Paris Conservatory pieces.

Applicants should submit an unedited recording of themselves 

performing any of the conservatory pieces up through Chant de Linos by Jolivet. Applicants will upload a link to a recording of themselves on YouTube Channel. 

There will be 3 performers chosen who will have 20 minutes each with Mr. Wilson during the masterclass. 

There is NO application fee, 

however you must be member of the Chicago Flute Club to apply.

If selected for this masterclass there will be a $25 Performer's Fee.
