As a longtime collaborator of Beeftink and the performer behind numerous recordings of his works, Rama brings a unique perspective on the composer’s musical language, creative process, and performance practice. The afternoon will include a recital, workshop, and masterclass.

Flutists from underrepresented groups and flutists experiencing financial need are strongly encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to flutists in the Chicago metro area. The scholarship is open to full-time Grade School, High School, and Undergraduate School Students of all levels.
Applications will be processing on a rolling basis. Applicants will receive a response within a week. Please note that scholarships are limited.
Open to flutists age 18 and older from any geographical region, this entirely online competition celebrates excellence in piccolo performance. Preliminary round submissions are due November 15, with finals held via Zoom on February 20.
A $2,000 award to one flutist for a project of their choosing, with special consideration for leadership, performance, and advocacy.
