Join us for an afternoon with John Thorne in recital & masterclass!

Mr. Thorne will play Franz Schubert's "Arpeggione" Sonata and Introduction and Variations on "Trockne Blumen" as well as Walter Piston's Sonata for Flute. Special guest: Kay Kim, piano. A masterclass will follow this wonderful recital.

PLEASE NOTE: The Chicago Marathon is also taking place on October 8th. Here is a map of the course:

You will want to plan your route for attending the recital ahead of time, and be sure to allow extra time for travel. If entering from the Eisenhower, head North on Western Avenue and approach Peoria Street from the North.

Admission is free with a CFC membership or guest card and for students and faculty of the Merit School; $15 for non-members.
