Become A Member of the CFC
Rates for annual dues from Sept. 1, 2009 – August 31, 2010:
Student: $20 – (non-voting) Student memberships include a subscription to Pipeline and free or discounted admission to all CFC events for the member and a guest. Note: Student members must be full-time students at an accredited institution.
Regular: $35 – (with full voting privileges) Regular memberships include a subscription to Pipeline, free or discounted admission to all CFC events for the member and a guest, and full voting privileges during board elections.
Contributing: $60+ – Contributing memberships include a subscription to Pipeline, free or discounted admission to all CFC events for the member and a guest, full voting privileges during board elections, mention in all event programs for the year, and the receipt of one set of membership-list mailing labels.
Corporate: $75 – Corporate memberships include a subscription to Pipeline, free or discounted admission to all CFC events for a representative of the corporation and a guest, full voting privileges during board elections (one vote per corporation), mention in all event programs for the year, the receipt of one set of membership-list mailing labels, and a business card size ad in Pipeline (which should be included with the membership application).
Corporate members and summer camps/festivals/institutes are eligible to place larger paid advertisements in Pipeline at the rate of $100 per page, $75 per half page, or $50 per quarter page per issue. A 20% discount is offered for full-season advertising.
Lifetime: $350 – Lifetime members receive a subscription to Pipeline, free or discounted admission to all CFC events for the member and a guest, full voting privileges during board elections, and mention in all event programs year after year. Renewals are done automatically by the Membership Chairperson, without the need for the member to renew each year.
Pipeline Subscription Only – $15 Pipeline subscribers receive 4 quarterly issues of our newsletter.
For memberships outside the U.S., please add $15.00 for shipping and handling.
All members will receive one copy per year of the CFC membership directory.

CFC members may advertise personal items for sale in Pipeline. This is intended solely as a service to CFC members seeking to sell or buy privately owned musical items such as instruments, books and sheet music. The cost is $5.00 per advertisement, and advertisements may include more than one item offered for sale. Checks should be made payable to The Chicago Flute Club and sent with the advertisement as you would like it to appear to:

Advertisements for instruments should include serial numbers for all items so marked. There is no charge for listing stolen instruments. Advertisements will appear in one issue of Pipeline only and will be printed in the earliest possible issue upon receipt by the editor.
